Not for your sun sign. Your sun sign is based on your birth date alone and is always correct. For moon sign and rising sign you'll need your birth time and city — you can add those later from the Astrology page. If you don't know your birth time, you can start without it and get it later.

Birth certificates usually include it (the long-form version in the US always does). You can also ask whoever was at your birth — most parents remember 'you were born around sunrise' or similar. Hospital records are another option if you want to be thorough.

Yes. Your journal, dreams, tablet readings, and chats with Aura are visible only to you. They're stored encrypted at rest. We do not use them for training AI models. See our Privacy policy for full details.

For the Tablets of Destiny she steps aside so NAMZU, the Ancient Reader, can speak through the clay in the voice of the primordial (Enki, Ereshkigal, Inanna, Enkidu). Every reading is generated fresh based on your specific chart and question — nothing is pulled from a static database. For tablet card imagery we use Google's Gemini Nano Banana — each card is painted once and cached forever. For meditation narration on Premium, OpenAI TTS.

Good question. Aura uses Swiss Ephemeris — the same astronomical engine professional astrologers use — so the math behind your chart is precise to the degree. Whether the symbolic meanings you read into that chart resonate with your life is a question we leave to you. Aura won't tell you astrology is 'true' or 'false.' She'll treat it as a rich lens for self-reflection, which is how most serious astrologers treat it themselves.

No. Aura will never tell you what's going to happen. She'll tell you what the symbolism of your chart, your numbers, or the tablet you draw tends to point toward — and she'll leave you to interpret the rest. If an app tells you 'you will meet your soulmate in March,' run.

Yes, within the same chat session. Open a fresh chat tab and Aura starts clean. We're considering a longer-term memory feature where Aura can reference past conversations with your explicit permission — it's a deliberate design decision to keep memory scoped until we get it right.

No. Aura is a reflective spiritual tool. She can be useful alongside therapy, but she cannot diagnose, treat, or replace professional mental health care. If you're struggling, please reach out to a licensed provider. If you're in crisis, contact a crisis line in your country.

Aura runs on MongoDB with data stored in secure, encrypted US-based servers. If you require EU data residency for GDPR reasons, email privacy@auralabs.one and we'll discuss options.
