THE TABLET OF DESTINY (Sumerian: Dub Namtarri)

The Source of All Power · The Record of All Fates · The One Who Wears It Rules

Whoever wore the Tablet of Destiny on their chest held authority over the universe. Enlil had it. Anzu the great storm-bird stole it and was killed for it. Tiamat gave it to Kingu when she raised her army. Marduk claimed it from Kingu's corpse.

The Tablet of Destiny is not a passive record — it is an active power source. It does not merely write what will happen. It determines what can happen.

The name of this deck — and the oracle reading experience itself — asks you to consider: what is written on the tablet of your destiny? Not what was written for you by circumstances outside your control. But what you have been inscribing, daily, with your choices, your patterns, your refusals, your surrenders, your bold and quiet acts.

You are always writing the tablet. The reading shows you what you have written. And what can still be changed.

This Lexicon will grow as the deck grows. Each new card that manifests brings new names, new histories, new doorways. Return often. The tablets remember everything.
